What does our business do?
At CompuPoint Inc we offer best quality, reliable and affordable used computers to consumers through our website. Best deals in used computers & IT equipment to our dealer network and our overseas customers.

When and why did we start the biz?
CompuPoint Inc was started in 2004 to promote recycling, refurbishing & reuse of computers & IT equipment. At CPI our goal is to provide reliable and affordable used computers worldwide. I chose this field because of my passion for both recycling & computers.

My Education:
Bachelor of Science (BSc.), Diploma in Marketing (DiM)

My Prior Work Experiance
Have been a business owner all my working life- 33 years (24 in India, 9 in Canada). Started off in manufacturing of Asphaltic Roofing Sheets, then Dyes. Moved on to our core family business of Iron & Steel scrap processing and Real estate/warehousing. Dabbled in Granite & Marble and Network Marketing. Here in Canada started with ‘Furnished Rooming’ business and moved to Used computers.

What's next on the horizon for our biz?
Improving the market position and exploring new avenues in online marketing. Move to larger warehouse facility. Network - Network - Network, and keep on top of the latest technology.

Where's our office? How Many People are in our Company?
Right in the comfort of our own home! Office is in our study and warehouse/workshop in our two car garage. Two persons in the biz.

What's the toughest part of running our biz?
Locating best value products to offer our customers. Reaching out to potential customers.

What's the most fun part?
Being my own boss, flexibility to do what I want when I want. Interacting with people. Receiving feedback from satisfied customers.

My advice for others:
Just Go for it! Don't give in to the voices that you can't do it! Everything you know from your name up you learned so learning to run a business isn't something that you can't do. If you are willing to work hard and never stop learning then you should explore the idea of making your mark in the world!
